Oily phenol Medicine

Overdose

Symptoms:

Symptoms of overdose after submucous injection of oily oily phenol are unknown, but are likely to be similar to the symptoms observed in other preparations after excessive exposure to oily phenol. Absorption of oily phenol after using dilute oily phenol solutions on extensive wounds has abdominal pain, dizziness, methaemoglobinemia, hemoglobinurea, cyanosis, irregular heartbeat, ECG abnormalities and can lead to respiratory failure, circulatory failure, coma and death.

Treatment: there is no specific antidote to acute oily phenol overdose. Treatment of an overdose is symptomatic and supportive. If the product has been swallowed, empty the stomach with aspiration and lavage, being careful to avoid perforation before doing the above procedure.

Contraindications

Oily oily phenoline injection, BP is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to oily phenol, nuts and especially almond oil or a component of the product. It should not be used over large areas because sufficient amounts can be absorbed to lead to toxic symptoms. Oily oily phenoline injection, BP is also contraindicated in newborns and children.
