WHAT ANACLOSIL IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
The active substance in anaclosil is cloxacillin.
Cloxacillin is an antibiotic belonging to the penicillin family.
Anaclosil is indicated in the treatment of the following infections:
Anaclosil is also indicated in the Prevention of infections after neurological interventions such as the sorting of internal cerebrospinal fluid.

HOW TO TAKE ANACLOSIL
Anaclosil will be given to you by a doctor or nurse.
It will be administered directly (directly intravenously) for 3-4 minutes or by a drip into the vein (intravenous infusion) for about 1 hour.
The recommended dose for adults to be administered will be as follows:
In case of serious problems with the functioning of the kidney and liver, the dose to be administered will be half the recommended dose.
Use in children and adolescents
The recommended dose is from 100 to 200 mg per kilogram of weight and per day divided into 4-6 administrations, not exceeding 12 g per day.
If you are given more Anaclosil than you should
Tell your doctor or nurse immediately if you think you have received too much Anaclosil.
If you have missed a dose of Anaclosil
Tell your doctor or nurse immediately if you think you have missed a dose.
