Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to penicillins in the anamnesis.

Incompatibilities

Probenecid reduces renal excretion.

Undesirable effects

Gastrointestinal disorders (gastralgia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, allergic reactions (acute hypersensitivity reactions occur within 1-30 minutes after taking the drug).

Therapeutic indications

Infections caused by staphylococci (resistant to benzylpenicillin), including infections of soft tissues (abscesses) and skin, bones (osteomyelitis) and joints, generalized infections.

Dosage (Posology) and method of administration

The dosage varies depending on the type and severity of the infection. At the beginning of treatment in severe cases (septicemia, osteomyelitis), intravenous injections are usually used: adults and children are prescribed 80-100 mg/kg of body weight per day in 4 doses.
