Contraindications

do not use if:

* you are allergic to any ingredient in Ferrous Fumarate (Ferli-6)/Folic Acid (Ferli-6)/B Complex/Vitamin C/Minerals

* you have iron metabolism problems (eg, hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis), certain types of anemia (pernicious, hemolytic), or high levels of iron in your blood

* you have coppermetabolism problems (Wilson disease)


Undesirable effects

Constipation; darkened or green stools; diarrhea; loss of appetite; nausea; stomach discomfort.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); black, tarry stools; blood or streaks of blood in the stool; severe or persistent stomach pain.

Therapeutic indications

*Doxycycline, hydantoins (eg, phenytoin), penicillamine, or thyroid hormones (eg, levothyroxine) because their effectiveness may be decreased by Ferrous Fumarate (Ferli-6)/Folic Acid (Ferli-6)/B Complex/Vitamin C/Minerals.
