Contraindications

Severe liver or kidney problems, hepatitis, thromboembolic disease, vaginal bleeding of not established genesis, breast carcinoma (except for cases in which Femicare is used in a combination therapy of this disease).

Undesirable effects

Cardiovascular system: increased blood pressure.

Metabolic: edema.

Digestive system: liver problems, jaundice, rarely (with prolonged use) - nausea, vomiting.

Endocrine: rare (with prolonged use) - decreased libido, weight gain, pain and tension in the breasts, irregular uterine bleeding.

CNS: rare (with prolonged use) - headache, depression.

Therapeutic indications

Gel for external use: mammalgia, disease of the breast.

Dosage (Posology) and method of administration

Orally, intravaginally, IM, locally. The dosing regimen is individual. The dose, frequency and duration of treatment with Femicare are determined according to the scheme depending on the indications and the clinical situation.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction

Femicare reduces the intensity of the drugs that stimulate the smooth muscles of the uterus, anabolic steroids, gonadotropin-releasing hormone of the anterior pituitary.

This medication reduces the lactogenic effect of oxytocin.

Femicare enhances the action of diuretics, antihypertensive drugs, immunosuppressive drugs. Simultaneous administration of Femicare with barbiturates it is marked decrease of Femicare effects.
