Correctol (inosine)

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to the drug,

gout,

hyperuricemia,

age under 18 (efficacy and safety not established).

With caution: kidney failure.

Incompatibilities

When used together with cardiac glycosides, the drug can prevent the occurrence of arrhythmias, enhance the positive inotropic effect.

Undesirable effects

When using the drug Inozie-F® possible individual intolerance, manifested by itching, hyperemia of the skin.

Rarely, the treatment increases the concentration of uric acid in the blood.

Possible exacerbation of gout (long-term use).

Therapeutic indications

complex treatment of myocardial infarction, coronary heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias caused by the use of cardiac glycosides, against the background of myocardiodystrophy after infectious diseases,

liver disease (hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty degeneration), urokoproporfirii,

operations on an isolated kidney (as a means of pharmacological protection when blood circulation is turned off).

Pharmacotherapeutic group

  • Metabolic Agent [Anabolics]

Pharmacodynamic properties

The metabolic agent, a precursor of ATP, has antihypoxic, metabolic and antiarrhythmic effects. Increases the energy balance of the myocardium, improves coronary blood circulation, prevents the consequences of intraoperative renal ischemia. It is directly involved in glucose metabolism and promotes the activation of metabolism in hypoxia and in the absence of ATP. Activates the metabolism of pyruvic acid to ensure the normal process of tissue respiration, and also promotes the activation of xanthine dehydrogenase. Stimulates the synthesis of nucleotides, increases the activity of some enzymes of the Krebs cycle. Penetrating into the cells, it increases the energy level, has a positive effect on the metabolic processes in the myocardium, increases the strength of heart contractions and promotes more complete relaxation of the myocardium in diastole, resulting in an increase in the shock volume of blood. Reduces the aggregation of platelets, activates the regeneration of tissues (especially of the myocardium and of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract)

Pharmacokinetic properties

It is metabolized in the liver with the formation of glucuronic acid and its subsequent oxidation. In a small amount, it is excreted by the kidneys.

Qualitative and quantitative composition

Inosine

Dosage (Posology) and method of administration

In/in. Enter slowly (40-60 drops / min) drip or jet.

Initially, 200 mg (10 ml of 2% solution) is administered 1 time a day, in subsequent periods with good tolerability — up to 400 mg (20 ml of 2% solution) 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment is 10-15 days.

Jet injection is possible in acute cardiac arrhythmias in a single dose of 200-400 mg (10-20 ml of 2% solution).

For pharmacological protection of the kidneys subjected to ischemia, inosine is administered intravenously in a single dose of 1200 mg (60 mg of 2% solution) for 5-15 minutes before clamping the renal artery, and then another 800 mg (40 ml of 2% solution) immediately after restoring blood circulation.

With drip intravenous administration, a 2% solution of the drug is diluted in a 5% glucose solution or an isotonic sodium chloride solution (up to 250 ml).
