Special patient groupsin
Patients with impaired liver function. Do not use the drug Calcium-D3 Nicomed in severe renal insufficiency.
Patients with impaired renal function. Do not use the drug Calcium-D3 Nicomed in severe renal insufficiency.
Elderly patients. The dose is the same as for adults. A possible decrease in creatinine clearance should be considered.
Duration of treatment. When used for the prevention and treatment of calcium and/or vitamin D deficiency3 the average duration of treatment is at least 4-6 weeks. The number of repeated courses during the year is determined individually.
When used to supplement specific therapy and prevent osteoporosis and its complications (bone fractures), the duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.
