Contraindications

Hypersensitivity (including to sulfonamides), hepatic or severe renal failure, Addison's disease, hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypochloremia, uremia.

Incompatibilities

Increases the activity of antihypertensive drugs, increases the risk of intoxication with cardiac glycosides, reduces the effectiveness of hypoglycemic drugs.

Undesirable effects

Dosage (Posology) and method of administration

Inside, preferably in the morning. Edematous syndrome: in the initial dose of 20-40 mg per day, if necessary, the dose can be increased to 60-80 mg. The maintenance dose is 10 mg per day or 20 mg every other day.

Arterial hypertension: 5-10 mg, in case of resistance-up to 20 mg per day.
