WHAT CANESPIE BIFONAZOLE IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR

This drug belongs to a group of drugs called antifungal drugs (drugs used to treat mycoses and yeast infections).

 

It is indicated for the treatment of “athlete's foot” (superficial skin infection caused by fungi and localized between the folds of the toes) in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.

 

The main symptoms of athlete's foot are: itching, redness (erythema), cracks between the fingers, peeling and can reach inflammation or pustules. It appears only on the feet. It usually starts between the toes, but can also extend to the soles and sides of the feet.

 

You should consult a doctor if it worsens or does not improve after 7 days.

Dosage (Posology) and method of administration

HOW TO TAKE CANESPIE BIFONAZOLE

Follow exactly the instructions for taking the medicine in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

 

The recommended dose is:

 

Adults and adolescents from from 12 years:

 

1 application to the affected area 1 time a day, preferably before bedtime. The duration of treatment is 3 weeks.

 

If after 7 days of use you do not notice an improvement in your symptoms, consult your doctor.

 

Method of administration:

 

This drug is administered by Dermal use.

 

Apply a sufficient amount of cream to completely cover the affected area, with special attention between the folds of the toes, and rub until completely absorbed. It is recommended to wash your hands after each application.

 

 

If you use more Bifonazole Canespie than you should

If you apply more cream than your pharmacist has told you, You may experience burning, redness or swelling that will disappear after stopping treatment.

 

This medicine should not be ingested. In case of accidental ingestion, contact your doctor.

 

In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist or immediately go to a medical center or call the toxicological information service, Phone: 91 562 04 20, indicating the drug and the amount ingested.

 

If you forget to use Canespie Bifonazole

If you have forgotten to use this medication if necessary, apply the cream as soon as you know and continue with your usual treatment regimen. Do not use a double dose to compensate for missed doses.

 

If you stop taking Canespie Bifonazole

Do not discontinue treatment earlier than indicated in the package leaflet, as irregular use or premature discontinuation of treatment carries a risk of relapse.
