Contraindications

The idiosyncrasy of the preparations of iron, hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, haemolytic anaemia, phenylketonuria.

Incompatibilities

Disrupts the absorption of tetracyclines (should be prescribed at intervals of at least two hours before or after administration), eggs, milk, tea are discontinued, and antacids worsen iron resorption.

Undesirable effects

Dyspeptic disorders (nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea), dark staining of teeth (temporary).

Therapeutic indications

Iron deficiency anemia (prevention and treatment), increased body demand for iron (pregnancy, lactation, period of growth and development, heavy menstruation).

Pharmacokinetic properties

It is absorbed and absorbed better than other forms of iron (low ionization constant).

1 tablet for making a fizzy drink contains iron gluconate 165.2 mg, ascorbic acid 125 mg, vitamin B12 6 mcg, folic acid 200 mcg, in tubes of 10 pcs.
