Overdose

Acute overdose of local use of Abzorb is unlikely and does not lead to a life-threatening situation.

Contraindications

Pharmaceutical form

The outdoor cream is a white, homogeneous cream without odor.

The solution for external use is a transparent, slightly brownish solution with the smell of isopropyl alcohol.

Vaginal tablets 100 mg: white, double-branded, oblong-shaped tablets with engraved "CL".

Vaginal tablets 200 mg: white, double-banged, oblong tablets.

Undesirable effects

Local (redness, burning sensation, itching) and allergic (exantheme) reactions.

Therapeutic indications

Mycoses of the skin, skin folds, stop, onichomycoses; choppy lichen, eritrazism, superficial candidiasis, mycoses complicated by secondary pyodermia; candidiasis vulvovaginitis, trichomoniasis; genital superinfections, reorganization of birth routes in front of childbirth.

Pharmacokinetic properties

Poorly absorbed through the skin and mucous membranes and has virtually no systemic effect. The concentration in the deep layers of the epidermis is higher than in the dermis and subcutaneous tissue.When using clotrimazole, intravaginally absorption is 3–10% of the entered dose. High concentrations in vaginal secretion and low blood concentrations persist for 48–72 hours. The liver quickly metabolizes to inactive metabolites.

Dosage (Posology) and method of administration

Locally. Cream and solution apply 2-3 times a day to pre-treated (using soap with a neutral pH value) and dry affected areas of the skin, the cream is carefully rubbed. The course of treatment of dermatomycosis is at least 4 weeks, chopping is 1–3 weeks; for fungal diseases of the skin of the legs, therapy continues to be at least 2 weeks after eliminating the symptoms of the disease.

Vaginal tablets (only for intravaginal use) are inserted in the evening into the vagina, as deep as possible, while lying on the back with slightly bent legs, daily for 6 days on 1 vaginal table. 100 mg each, or 1 vaginal table for 3 days. 200 mg each. A second course is possible after consultation with a doctor.

For the reorganization of birthways, a single introduction of 1 table is recommended.
