Contraindications

Incompatibilities

Beta-Escin amorphous (Aescin) enhances the nephrotoxic effect of aminoglycoside antibiotics. Potentiates the action of anticoagulants. Cephalosporins weaken the binding of Beta-Escin amorphous (Aescin)a to plasma proteins, which increases the likelihood of toxic effects.

Pharmacodynamic properties

Reduces the permeability of capillaries, has a venotonizing, anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory effect, reduces the fragility of capillaries.

Pharmacokinetic properties

It is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract by approximately 11%. Cmax it is achieved very quickly, then the escin is redistributed into the tissues. Binding to plasma proteins is significant. It is excreted in bile and urine.

Inside, after meals, with plenty of water, 40 mg (2 tablets) 3 times a day. As the clinical effect is achieved, the dose is reduced to 40 mg (2 tables) 2 times a day.

The course of treatment of chronic venous insufficiency — 2 months or more. In the case of acute pathology, the drug is used for 5-14 days at the discretion of the doctor.

In order to prevent postoperative edema and hematomas, the drug is prescribed at least 16 hours before the operation.

Children are prescribed 1/2 dose of adults.

Externally, the gel is applied 2 times a day (usually in the morning and evening) with a thin layer on the corresponding area of the skin, lightly massaging.
