Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of QV Cream.

Therapeutic indications

An indication is a term used for the list of condition or symptom or illness for which the medicine is prescribed or used by the patient. For example, acetaminophen or paracetamol is used for fever by the patient, or the doctor prescribes it for a headache or body pains. Now fever, headache and body pains are the indications of paracetamol. Treatment for ichthyosis, xerosis, pruritus hiemalis, dry skin associated with dermatitis, eczema, scaly skin and other dermatological conditions. In infants, it is also suitable for the prevention of atopic dermatitis and aids in the temporary relief of symptoms of dry eczema.

Qualitative and quantitative composition

QV Cream contains glycerin10%, light liquid paraffin 10%, Soft white paraffin (Qv Cream) (petrolatum) 5%, Dimethicone (Qv Cream) 3%, Squalane (Qv Cream) 3%, methyl hydroxybenzoate 0.2% and dichlorobenzyl alcohol 0.1% in a vanishing cream base; it has a pH of 6. QV Cream is a propylene glycol-, lanolin- and perfume-free preparation.

Dosage (Posology) and method of administration

Apply to the affected areas as often as required, particularly after bathing, showering, shaving, exposure to harsh climatic conditions and at night. For optimum therapeutic effect, apply after bathing or showering with QV Bath Oil. To avoid further irritation of sensitive skin, cleanse with QV Wash instead of soap.
