Therapeutic indications

Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, pylorospasm, cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, spasms of the intestine and urinary tract, bradiarrhythmias that developed as a result of increased vagus nerve tone, before anesthesia and operations (for the prevention of bronchospasm and laryngospasm, reducing the secretion of salivary and bronchial glands and vagal cardiac reflexes), X - ray examinations of the gastrointestinal tract, poisoning with cholinomimetic (in including organophosphorus) agents, bronchial asthma, bronchitis with hyperproduction of mucus.

Pharmacodynamic properties

Reduces the tone of smooth muscle organs (bronchi, abdominal organs, uterus, urinary tract), reduces the secretion of salivary, gastric, bronchial, sweat glands, pancreas, increases heart rate, relaxes the fibers of the circular muscle of the iris, dilates the pupil and increases intraocular pressure, causes paralysis of accommodation. In the central nervous system, it prevents cholinergic interneuronal contacts, reduces trembling and muscle tension in patients with parkinsonism, and excites the respiratory center.
