Pharmacodynamic properties

It has an annoying effect on the mucous membrane of the colon, reflexively stimulating intestinal motor skills. Softens the feces and facilitates their passage along the colon.

Pharmacokinetic properties

Glycerin quickly and almost completely absorbed from the mucous membrane of the rectum. Actively metabolized in the liver. It is one of the substrates for gluconeogenesis and increases the glucose content in blood plasma.

With urine in an unchanged form, 7-14% is allocated.

Release form

Rectal suppositories for children, 0.75. 5 soupp. in containers of suppository or contour cell packaging. 2 containers of suppository or 2 contour cell packs are placed in a box of cardboard.

Fertility, pregnancy and lactation

During pregnancy, the use is contraindicated due to possible reflex stimulation of the uterus.

During breastfeeding, use is possible after consultation with a doctor.
