Sodium chloride 6.0 g

Sodium Acetate Trihydrate 2.0 g

Description of the dosage form

Clear, colorless liquid.

Pharmacological Group

Rehydrating agent.

Pharmacodynamics

Combined salt solution for rehydration and detoxification. Restores the water-electrolyte balance and acid-base state in the body during dehydration. Prevents the development of metabolic acidosis, increases diuresis. It has a plasma-substituting, detoxifying, rehydrating effect.

Pharmacokinetics

It is excreted by the kidneys.

Indications

Dehydration, hyperkalemia, intoxication on the background of dehydration (cholera, acute dysentery, food poisoning).

Contraindications

Kidney and heart failure.

With caution

With caution, the drug should be used in hypokalemia.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The use of the drug during pregnancy is possible only if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus. You should refrain from breastfeeding during the use of the drug due to the lack of appropriate clinical data.

Method of administration and dosage

Intravenous (jet and drip), under the control of laboratory parameters (electrolytes Na, K, SG, acid-base state of the blood). The ratio of the injected fluid and diuresis is determined every 6 hours. Within 1 hour, the jet is injected, then the jet injection is replaced with a drip, for 24-48 hours, at a rate of 40-120 caps/min. Before administration, the solution is heated to 36-38 °C. The solution is administered in the amounts necessary to restore the volume of fluid lost with feces, vomit, urine, and sweat.

In severe forms of diseases (hypovolemic infectious-toxic shock, decompensated metabolic acidosis, anuria), they begin with a jet injection of the drug, followed by a transition to a drip.

With milder forms of diseases (intoxication and dehydration of the body, metabolic acidosis, oliguria), you can limit yourself to drip administration of the drug. After the elimination of hyperkalemia, further water-salt therapy is carried out with solutions of Trisol, Acesol or Chlosol.

Side effects

Edema, tachycardia. In some cases, you may experience the chills.

Overdose

Symptoms: hypokalemia, hypernatremia.

Treatment: correction of electrolyte disorders, control of the level of electrolytes in the blood.

Interaction

When used together with other drugs, it is necessary to visually monitor the pharmaceutical incompatibility.

Special instructions

Therapy is carried out under the control of hematocrit and the concentration of blood electrolytes.

In general, when dehydration is indicated, the use of solutions for oral rehydration is indicated, and only if such a reception is impossible (for one reason or another), the drug Disol is administered.

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms

The effect of the drug on psychophysiological reactions and the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms has not been reported.
