Dioflam (DIOS LIFESCIENCE) is contraindicated in the following situations: Patients sensitive to Aceclofenac (Dioflam (DIOS LIFESCIENCE)), Paracetamol (Dioflam (DIOS LIFESCIENCE)) or to any of the excipients of the product. Patients in whom aspirin or other Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug, precipitate attacks of bronchospasm, acute rhinitis or urticaria or patients hypersensitive to drugs. Patients with active or suspected peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding or bleeding disorders. Patients with severe heart failure, hypertension, hepatic or renal insufficiency. Third trimester of pregnancy.
Paracetamol (Dioflam (DIOS LIFESCIENCE)): Nausea, allergic reactions, skin rashes, acute renal tubular necrosis. Aceclofenac (Dioflam (DIOS LIFESCIENCE)): Diarrhoea, headache, vertigo, dizzies, nervousness, tinnitus, depression, drowsiness, insomnia; fever, angioedema, bronchospasm, rashes; blood dyscrasias.
Potentially Fatal: Paracetamol (Dioflam (DIOS LIFESCIENCE)): Very rare, blood dyscrasias (eg, thrombocytopaenia, leucopaenia, neutropaenia, agranulocytosis); liver damage. Aceclofenac (Dioflam (DIOS LIFESCIENCE)): Severe GI bleeding; nephrotoxicity.

Paracetamol (Dioflam (DIOS LIFESCIENCE)): Reduced absorption of cholestyramine within 1 hr of administration.
Accelerated absorption with metoclopramide.
Increased risk of liver damage in chronic alcoholics. Increased risk of toxicity with high doses or long term administration of barbiturates, carbamazepine, hydantoins, isoniazid, rifampicin and sulfinpyrazone.
Aceclofenac (Dioflam (DIOS LIFESCIENCE)): May increase the plasma concentrations of lithium and digoxin.
Increased nephrotoxicity with diuretics. Serum-potassium should be monitored when used with potassium-sparing diuretics. May enhance activity of anticoagulants. May increase plasma methotrexate levels leading to toxicity if administered within 2-4 hours of methotrexate administration. Risk of convulsions with quinolones. Potentially fatal.
