Contraindications

Undesirable effects

Irritation of the nasal mucosa (for the nasal spray), coughing, mild dryness in the throat, bronchospastic phenomena, headache, urine delay, impaired renal function, allergic reactions (skin rash, lacrimation, anaphylaxia, itching, lip swelling, lower blood pressure), burning in the eyes.

Therapeutic indications

Allergic rhinitis (prevention and treatment); allergic keratitis, conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, dry eye syndrome, irritation of the mucous eyes due to allergic reactions (environmental factors, household chemicals, cosmetics).

Pharmacodynamic properties

Prevents the degradation of fat cells and the separation of histamine, bradikinin, leukotrienes from them (including.h. slowly responding substance) and other biologically active substances. Most effective in preventive use.

Pharmacokinetic properties

With intranasal administration, less than 7% of the introduced dose is absorbed from the nasal cavity into the systemic bloodstream; after inhalation, up to 10% of the active substance enters the lower respiratory tract and is completely disrupted into systemic blood flow. The drug is not metabolized, excreted from the body in an unchanged form with urine and bile in approximately equal quantities. Part of the active substance that is deposited in the mouth and throat is swallowed and released without significant absorption through the LCD.

Nature and contents of container

Spray for nasal use 15 ml
sodium cromoglycate 300 mg

in bottles (1 fl. - 100 doses) with a spray gun of 15 ml; in box 1 bottle.

Drops of eye 10 ml
cromoglycyanic acid (dynatric salt) 200 mg

in plastic dropper bottles of 10 ml; in box 1 bottle.

Allowed only by strict indications. Careful medical supervision is recommended.

Dosage (Posology) and method of administration

Intranasally : spray - for adults and children over 6 years old - 1 dose (2.8 mg) in each nose 4–6 times a day.

Conjunctively : eye drops - 1-2 drops 4 times (maximum up to 8 times) per day at equal time intervals.
