Pharmacodynamic properties

It has an enterosorbent, detoxifying and antidiarrheal effect. It belongs to the group of polyvalent physico-chemical antidotes, has a high surface activity, adsorbs poisons and toxins from the gastrointestinal tract before they are absorbed, alkaloids, glycosides, barbiturates and other hypnotics, heavy metal salts, toxins of bacterial, vegetable, animal origin, phenol derivatives, prussic acid, sulfonamides, gases. Active as a sorbent in hemoperfusion. Weakly adsorbs acids and alkalis, iron salts, cyanides, malathion, methanol, ethylene glycol. Does not irritate the gastrointestinal mucosa. Dosage (Posology) and method of administration

Inside (the powder is stirred in 1/4-3/4 cup of water), 1-2 hours before or after eating and taking other medications. A single dose for adults-5-8 g, for children-1-4 g (at the rate of 0.1–0.2 g/kg) 3 times a day. The course is 5-14 days.
