Spastic conditions and gastrointestinal dyskinesia: irritable bowel syndrome-mucosal colitis, gastritis, gastroduodenitis, enteritis, esophagitis, preparation for endoscopic examinations (esophagoscopy, gastroscopy, duodenoscopy, colonoscopy, rectoscopy).
Reduces the tone and contractile activity of the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. It does not have atropine-like properties, with low toxicity, it does not cause teratogenic, mutagenic and embryotoxic effects (in experimental studies).
About 5% of the administered dose is absorbed, most of it is excreted in the bile.
