Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, porphyria or congenital G6PD deficiency, bleeding disorders.

Undesirable effects

The following adverse reactions have been associated with use of fenoxazoline:

Location: sensation of dryness of the nose.

Systemic: headache, insomnia, palpitations. The systemic reactions can occur in cases of prolonged use.

Especially in newborns, children and elderly, there is the possibility of systemic effects appear due to

rapid penetration of the drug by an inflamed mucosa and digestive absorption.

Therapeutic indications

An indication is a term used for the list of condition or symptom or illness for which the medicine is prescribed or used by the patient.
