Overdose

Symptoms: pupil dilation, nausea, cyanosis, fever, convulsions, tachycardia, arrhythmia, cardiac arrest, hypertension, pulmonary edema, impaired respiratory function and mental activity.

Symptoms usually go away on their own. If necessary, use activated charcoal, gastric lavage, oxygen inhalation, antipyretics and anticonvulsants, to reduce blood pressure in/in slowly inject 5 ml of phentolamine in saline solution or 100 mg inside.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, narrow-angle glaucoma, children's age (up to 2 years).

Undesirable effects

Burning sensation, blurred vision, irritation and redness of the conjunctiva, rarely - dilation of the pupil, general sympathomimetic effects.

Eye irritation (as a result of smoke, dust, chlorinated water, light, cosmetics, contact lenses), allergic reactions (hay fever, hypersensitivity to plant pollen).

Conjunctival, 1-2 drops in each conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day.

If the improvement does not occur within 48 hours, further treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

Conjunctivally-1-2 drops from the dropper bottle are instilled into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye 2-3 times a day. When wearing contact lenses, they are removed before instilling the drug and installed 15 minutes after it.
