Composition

Composition per 1 ml of solution:

Active ingredients: sodium acetate trihydrate ( sodium acetic acid trihydrate) - 2 mg, sodium chloride-5 mg, potassium chloride-1 mg.

Excipients: water for injection.

Pharmacological action

The combined drug has a detoxifying, plasma-substituting, rehydrating, diuretic, anti-shock, antiplatelet effect. Reduces hypovolemia, prevents blood clot and the development of metabolic acidosis, increases diuresis, improves microcirculation.

Indications

Dehydration, intoxication (dysentery, food poisoning, cholera El Tor).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, hyperkalemia, alkalosis, chronic renal failure, the presence of contraindications to the introduction of large amounts of fluid into the body.

Method of administration and dosage

Intravenous jet and drip.

In severe forms of diseases, they are administered intravenously by jet (1-3 h), in mild forms - intravenously by drip, at a rate of 40-120 caps/min (24-48 h). The solution is administered in the amounts necessary to restore the volume of fluid lost with feces, vomit, urine and sweat. The balance of the injected and lost fluid is determined every 6 hours.

Side effects

Edema, tachycardia, hyperkalemia, rarely-chills.

Special instructions

Before use, the solution must be heated to body temperature (36-38 aboutC). Treatment is carried out under the control of hematocrit and the concentration of blood electrolytes.

In the case of hyperkalemia, the drug is replaced with a solution of "Disol" until the electrolyte balance is normalized.

Release form

Solution for infusions.

200 ml, 400 ml each in glass bottles for blood, transfusion and infusion preparations, capped with rubber stoppers and compressed with aluminum caps.

The bottle, along with the instructions for use, is placed in a pack of cardboard.

For hospitals: 28 bottles of 200 ml or 15 bottles of 400 ml, together with an equal number of instructions for use, are placed in cardboard boxes with gaskets and grids (with " sockets») without pre-packing in bundles.

Storage conditions

At a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

Keep out of reach of children.

Freezing the drug while maintaining the tightness of the bottle is not a contraindication to its use.

The non-wettability of the inner surface of the bottles is not a contraindication to the use of the drug.

Expiration date

2 years.

Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
