Pharmacological actionThe main active ingredients are arsumin (the sum of lactones) and absintin (individual lactone). Irritating the taste buds of the mucous membranes of the mouth and tongue, this tincture reflexively causes increased secretion of gastric juice, increased appetite, improved digestion. It has anti-inflammatory choleretic and antimicrobial effects.
IndicationsAnorexia, hypo - and anacid gastritis, chronic cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia of the hypomotor type.
